these are series of questions which keep on bothering us from time to time. We are in the business of sales and that is the only time we realize importance of business leads. There are people who require sales leads. People in the business of Insurance, Advertising etc; require quite a huge number of leads. Business Leads are the ones who actually materialize as an output. There are insurance leads which convert from prospective client to a final one!

Have you ever bought leads?

Yes these are the questions always asked by one sales guy to another. Definitely one would be interested in learning about all the experiences one has ever had while buying or purchasing leads online. Common Myth, people saying though they have never thought about doing this but always wanted to check wither the company providing them leads is actually doing their work perfectly.  Well if they themselves would be good at leads, they would definitely have a perfect lead list!

It is always believed that a person with leads has usually good amount experience in the service and if the lead was any good, surely they would use it for themselves.The only leads many places useful are the ones where it's a friend of a friend and they want a little kick back from it. Purchasing leads is mostly not considered a good practice since the most perfect will be just 0.5% and remaining 99.5% will actually be your hard work. To Consider EL – Family exemption, Under a normal liability policy, It is always noted that a standard family exclusion applies to all persons closely related to the insured (unless the business is incorporated as a limited company). EL can be provided though - you need to check with a broker and also make sure the insurer's definition of employee is wide enough to include temporary workers. But the broker and the policy contains a standard family exemption clause applying to EL and public liability (PL) sections. They currently only have PL (EL is not obligatory as it's a partnership) but they want EL to cover the son of one of the business partners and that's where we are struggling. The definition of employee would be wide enough to cover temp workers/school experience by the way.

Supposingly If there is no EL in place, you may want to talk to the current insurer for them to add the liability. They do not need EL - in fact, we can all but guarantee the only reason they are asking about it is because the school send out a slip that says all pupils going into privately organised work experience need to ensure the employer has EL. The school has no idea over the requirement of legality of insurance, they just demand it on everything because a government 'bod' told them to. The clause you mention may be the insurer referencing why they have sold the policy without the EL. As you are aware, close family members are not legally required to be covered under EL.

Suppose There is a myth that if you have a non-fault accident and you are not making a claim under your own policy then you do not need to notify your own motor insurer if you are using a 'non-fault scheme'. This is not correct as even when you are not making a claim under your own policy, recoveries for the repairs to your vehicle will be made from the negligent party and as such, the claim will be recorded on the Claims and Underwriting Exchange. Just by reporting the claim you should not receive an increase in premium. Also all claims have to be reported to the insurer on any vehicle where you are a driver. And finally, I would suggest if in doubt speak to your insurance broker or adviser. Now You and I both know that, but the general public don't, although I frequently remind them. They still buy insurance online and risk financial ruin.

Well now most of you must be aware of the database and its strength. But wait, this has more!

There is one problem with this database. It has mystical capabalities of only 6-8months, after which, it attracts spammers for Google mail, problem with telemarketing companies since the client would complain if her/his number is in the Do not disturb list. So we need to create new list on 6 monthly period. This means getting new friends and creating new relations. not bad eh! 

Step 1.

Start attending Seminars, Meetings, and small gathering in your area, your area of expertise and start meeting people. Remember do not hound people. Be friendly and tell them that you are wanting to have a networking of people who can help each other!

Step 2.

Keep in touch with them after you have taken their numbers. Don't forget to give them a general phone call once in a month inquiring about their health etc.

Step 3 

You many then repeat our earlier exercise, of 100 people. Now suppose instead of 100, you get 500 people from your mobile number and 500 people you meet. So imagine the possibility of this database and strength of it.

You will have a strong database of lively...

Names and Numbers : 100000

Names and Email Address : 125000

Complete Data : 25000

Now one of the biggest modification that you can actually do it, get a totall of 200 people from each of your friends in the list. That will make it ming blowing 200000, the more the better.. .

Friends this was one of the biggest trick that would also be a part of an e-book that is currently being compiled consisting of getting free data from internet, friends, references and also social marketing or social media.

Ok, we now have a good database of 2500 people. telecalling leads for 10000 people, mass mailing leads for 12500 people... but now what is to be done!

Well i know that would be a big question kind of! here is what this database could be used for.

1. Selling to a Manager of Insurance company, Credit Company, simcards etc, These people buy this kinds of database on good level. you may sell it for not less than $15 - $25. Remember this data could be sold to multiple people. Imagine if you sell this database for $20 for 1 sale, just making 5 sales in a day, will land you up for $100. Well i know what you are thinking, "writing is more easy than doing", trust me, i have already done this and generated a whopping $5780 in just 3 months. Use different kinds of methods like, www.ebay.com and fiverr.com etc. these would be good and would pay you instantly. 

2. If you are into affiliate marketing like commission junction or click-bank, you can definitely use this data to ask people by sending them emails, brochures. Firstly do not mass email them your offers etc. As them to check out your website / blog that actually has these affiliate deals. Actually this works too good with regards to email database. Having 12500 database creates huge opportunity, where even if 5% - 8% is turnout ration, your income turns in more than $10K. :) Well honestly, this is true! I have generated more than $18000 in last 5 months by just using this data. Lets keep it average and say like $3000 per month.

So total in all with affiliate and database selling, I ended up generating $3800 per month since the month of June.

Ok... just a small flashback, we have got database of some trusted friends from our cellphone.
we experimented with 1 friend, getting good amount of data from him / her..

Now begins the magic of calculation.

you have 100 friends in main list. so from 1 friend you got.

Names and Phone Numbers : 100
Names and Email Address: 125
Complete data: 25

You have total 100 friends in that list, when you follow this procedure, you will have.

Names and Phone Numbers : 10000
Names and Email Address : 12500
Complete Data : 2500

So now what! Yeah well, we wont stop here...

You are having 100 names numbers and email address of your friends who are good with you. Now to create a mass list. dedicate atleast 1 hr or your required time with your 1 friend from that list, and ask him to give you following.

1. Atleast 25 people who know you, and him / her(ur friend) their name, number and email address.
2. For Atleast 50 email ID's  which he / she sends email on daily basis (Known to your friend)
3 Atleast 75 phone numbers from his cellphone. (Knowning your friend)

So here is the result.

1. A total of 25 names and numbers of your friends list with complete Data Name, Email address and Numbers.
2. Total 125 names and email Ids
3. Total of  100 names and phone numbers

Hi, Today after experimenting with many techniques and going for data gathering i have come across a very simple and effective technique of getting perspective leads. You need these few things for the same.

1. your cellphone number
2. your email address
3. good communication skills
4. good relationship with your friends and colleagues.

Now, Jot down those people from your contact numbers list with whom you have very great and good communication. Total people you require to jot down is, 100.

Here you go you are now having a list of names numbers and email address of 100 people to begin with already.
